Monday:
Period 1-We have an assembly to start the period. After that, we will work on taking materials over to the site to prep for Wednesday.
Period 7-We will start by siliconing our frames for our concrete table tops.
Then we are going to together unload the trailer with the two farrowing crates on it.
After that, we will go down to the site to remove some extra soil and concrete the large rock in place that we moved last time.
Wednesday:
Period 1-Working on getting all pipe ran on the site, get the trees planted, and continue with the pathway edging.
Period 7-Pour concrete table tops in the melamine forms today. We will take them out in one weeks time.
Friday:
Good day to all. Looks like we will be stuck inside because of the rain. Well, no need to let time be wasted. There are plenty of things to learn. I have several activities for you to do today. To start off, please go to the following website, Design Confidential look up as many different projects as you can and select one you think you would like to build in the shop. Look for ease of construction, learning opportunities, and is it a product people would be willing to purchase? Once you have selected a project.

These are the first two chapters out of the Basic Principles of Construction book. After reading the chapter there are several review questions you will need to answer.
Individually, write out the questions and answers in a Pages document.
Be sure to make the answers a different color so it is easy for me to read.
I want you to work in your groups for this activity. Because, while you are researching and answering the questions you will also be working to put together a group presentation on the chapter.
